My name is Arvid Sundqvist, and I work as a section manager in IT within the product area of Revenue Collection and Related Accounting. Together with my managerial colleague Anis Kovacevic, I am responsible for the management and development of the Swedish Transport Agency's financial IT systems, where we are currently on a challenging but also very exciting journey. We manage both our existing older IT solutions and develop entirely new ones to replace the old, and now we need to strengthen our area with a highly important key player. Therefore, we are looking for an IT delivery manager for our product area of Revenue Collection and Related Accounting.

We are looking for someone with several years of current experience in the IT delivery manager role combined with experience in financial accounting. This, along with a strong drive, strategic thinking, and a good ability to lead teams and coordinate complex IT deliveries. You are analytical, structured, and have an easy time collaborating with various stakeholders.

You will

• identify, prioritize, and anchor IT needs in collaboration with development teams and other stakeholders – ensuring that the solutions are sustainable and manageable
• lead and drive IT assignments and initiatives - monitor the progress of IT assignments, manage risks, and ensure that deliveries meet expected requirements and goals
• communicate and collaborate with product owners, development teams, IT operations staff, and other departments to ensure consensus and prioritization
• have regular dialogue with the section manager, governance, and other stakeholders to report progress, identify any obstacles, and drive solutions forward
• identify and manage risks within IT deliveries, as well as follow up on quality and compliance with the authority's requirements and standards
• be responsible for documenting assignment status, decisions, and results and reporting to the section manager and other management and governance.

You must have

• a university degree in the IT field or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way
• current several years of work experience in the IT delivery manager role from a development perspective and in relation to IT infrastructure, integrations, and operations
• current several years of experience in the IT field in general, where you have worked in organizations with large technical environments and complex system landscapes that place high demands on IT solutions and integrations
• experience and understanding of ITIL processes and agile working methods such as Scrum or Kanban
• experience in financial accounting
• good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you also have

• experience in financial accounting within public administration
• experience as a Scrum Master
• experience in security-related work within IT
• experience with older IT solutions related to migrated mainframe systems.

More information

The employment is permanent with placement in Örebro. Appointment according to agreement. We normally apply a probationary period. As an employee with us, there is the opportunity to work remotely up to three days a week. The needs of the business and the nature of the tasks will determine whether and to what extent this is possible. An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
